From there, the meshes were exported as OBJ objects to Element 3D. In Element, I assigned final shaders and inserted HDRI lighting. The logos had to be brought into three different types of After Effects compositions: Away Loops (the solo away team logo), Match Up ((which featured RIT's logo juxtaposed to the away team's logo) and Next Game (the former but more zoomed in). The surrounding ice rink template was created by my supervisor, Mark Sniffen. All collegiate logos and representations are under ownership of their respective owners.

I exported these paths to Cinema 4D, cleaned up any artifacts, extruded the paths, cleaned up N-Gons, and assigned stand-in materials.

The first step in re-creating these logos was to find an existing, usable image of a college's logo. From there, in Adobe Illustrator, I would image trace the pictures or manually draw out traced paths.

Beginning in August 2017, as part of a larger rebranding effort for RIT Sportszone, I was tasked with replicating a series of college sports logos in 3D (about 19) to put into on-screen graphics at RIT Hockey games.
